This site is dedicated to displaying a sampling of my teaching adventures as a PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy resident with Butler University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Indianapolis, IN. Originally from Raleigh, NC, I completed my PharmD at Campbell University in the metropolis of Buies Creek, NC. This is where I was offered my first taste of teaching as a chemistry lab instructor, and I have been hooked ever since!
With this passion for teaching, I pursued a PGY1 residency in Jackson, TN where I completed a robust teaching and learning curriculum under the leadership of gifted and experienced mentors at Union University School of Pharmacy. To continue developing as an educator, I have had the great pleasure of participating in the Indiana Teaching Certificate Program (IPTeC) with diverse teaching experiences at Butler University and the surrounding health centers. Through the dedicated mentorship of many faculty members, I am incredibly excited to begin the next step in pharmacy academia as an assistant professor at Notre Dame of Maryland University School of Pharmacy in August 2016. May the best be yet to come . . . |
